Beading & Beyond - Campers will explore the world of beading by creating different projects each day and learn beaded jewelry skills through fun filled activities and crafts. BeadLuxe will teach all the basic and advanced beading skills to making fabulous jewelry from the materials, techniques and designs.

Campers will learn about jewelry styles, color palettes, fashion designs and materials from different cultures, periods and fashions that will inspire their own jewelry collection. Projects will include but are not limited to: Necklaces, Anklets, Bracelets, Earrings, T-Shirts, Backpack Tags and Bookmarks.

Campers will also learn to make beads and pendants from glass, paper, clay and shrink art to add a unique touch their jewelry collections and craft creations.

At the of each week, campers will have completed over 10 different projects which will be displayed at their own in-house show for friends and family!

All camps include beginner and advanced levels and will use beads from the Studio, Essential and Accent Bead Collections. Campers work together on projects adapted for all skill levels with more challenging complexity for advanced/intermediate campers.

Singer/Songwriter Zach Macko to Perform at BeadLuxe

Summit, NJ, December 11, 2007 — BeadLuxe Studio, the area’s leading make-your-own jewelry workshop and event venue, is proud to present a free acoustic performance by singer/songwriter Zach Macko. Originally hailing from Madison, NJ, Macko, known for his irresistibly catchy tunes and fun and heartfelt lyrics, will be performing songs from his second album, The Doorway, Friday, December 21 at 8:00pm at BeadLuxe’s Summit location. Votes for New Jersey’s favorite beader in the various categories were cast on-line at BeadLuxe.com and at the stores. “It was a lot of fun to watch beaders of all ages enter their jewelry and vote for the contestants in the 1st Annual BeadLuxe Bead-Off. We are thrilled to be able to showcase people’s talent in our store windows.” says owner Angeli Breen.
